Hello Broadway Performers and Dancers!!
First off, I want to thank you all for the joy and entertainment you bring to audiences. Our businesses are similar - we give people an opportunity to disappear from their own worlds for a few hours at a time, and to take them on a journey.
My massage career began working on Broadway dancers, and I have a debt of gratitude to them for teaching me about the body in ways that massage school never did. I also am a huge Broadway fan and try to go to the theater as much as I possibly can. So I do offer some discounts to Broadway actors and dancers (unless your name is above the Marquee, of course!! If that’s the case, you’ll still get all of my care and love and affection, but we both know that you don’t really need the discounts the way that the dancers and ensemble members do).
I’m known throughout the Broadway and touring community as the guy who truly knows how to get in there and work all of the muscles that dancers use (and abuse) on a regular basis. The comment I get consistently after every dancer massage is “FINALLY! Someone who knows how to get in there and get those knots worked out!”.
I understand your bodies. I’ve been a dancer myself, so I have firsthand knowledge of the tightness of the IT Bands and the various other muscle groups that you rely on heavily for your work. I’m also highly intuitive, so I can make sure that my work fits your needs. Some of you like extraordinarily deep work. Others of you need the knots out, but don’t want to feel pummeled in the process. I cater each massage to the needs of not only your body, but also the needs of YOU as a human being.
